Disaster struck the other day when we were plunged into darkness, the culprit? The bathroom tap having sprung a violent leak which had flooded the bathroom and subsequently leaked through into the light fitting below. My mum turned off the stop-tap for the whole house and I looked online for someone to come and fix it. I found NO1 PHD on Yell and gave them a try, SO glad I did! With the assistance of the lovely gentleman I spoke to and the few tools we had I managed to turn off just the offending tap which meant we could all shower, and more importantly could have a cup of coffee! The next morning, a No1 PHD engineer arrived and replaced the taps, he recommended some one to look at the electrics too, was extremely polite and didn’t leave any mess. Used his recommendation and the whole thing cost a lot less than we expected. Couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely use as part of the eventual bathroom refit we have in mind.

My boiler broke recently and I called No.1 PHD to come and fix or replace it. They responded quickly, were courteous and helpful and undertook the work quickly. Overall it was a surprisingly affordable, quick and pleasant experience. Definitely using them again should anything else go wrong!

Recently had my drains unblocked by No1 PHD. They were very thorough and completed the job quickly without leaving any mess. I was more the happy. I highly recommend this company for any drainage work and will use again.
