Nicolas Greensmith

I am a private tutor with over twenty years experience.

I specialize in piano keyboards and theory for beginners, Intermediates and adult learners.

I can travel across Wakefield and surrounding areas to the student's own home and prefer to book in weekly one hour or half hour sessions at a regular time each week. I can also offer online lessons and support through Zoom, WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams.

I am available weekdays and evenings.

I tailor my approach for the individual student, preferring to include a mixture of classical training ( ie. learning by sight ), with learning by ear including use of chords and improvisation if possible. This draws on all of the students strengths and gives them a good grounding for playing alone or with other musicians.
