We carry around 40 hand-picked, pre-owned motorhomes for sale and we apply the very same principles of attention to detail and a customer led approach to our motorhome sales.

Good sales process but aftersales non-existent

So I purchased a 2nd hand ( 1.5 year old) A Class Motorhome from Nick Whale (£94K) and was expecting a bit more based on the reviews. In regards to the handover:
1. We asked if the water tank had been steralised...yes was the answer but this was not the case (brown water out of the taps and took 2/3 goes to clear)
2. Drivers mirror folded in over 35 mph.....needed proper adjustment (good job we have google)
3. Locking wheel nut key was not present/missing despite me asking for it in the handover.....I emailed afterwards but no reply whatsoever - unacceptable!
4. Habitation door central locking was not working....2 disconnected wires which once put right (by myself) fixed the issue.....was told the habitation door was not centrally locked during Sales!
5. One of the windscreen wiper blades fell off the first time it rained on M54 - fortunately we salvaged it and once reconnected it was fine

So overall....sales good (as you expect), handover needs a big improvement!

During the PDI and the handover the water was clear and there were no issues present. 2. This issue did not present itself during the PDI. We are glad to hear that you were able to adjust this. 3. Our sincere apologies for the missed email. We strive to provide the highest level of customer service, and it's disheartening to hear when we fall short of that standard. We are aware that our Parts & Warranty Department have since contacted you. 4. The habitation door is often excluded from central locking on many A-Class motorhomes, therefore this would have not been noted during the PDI as a fault, as it is not out of the ordinary. 5. This issue did not present itself during the PDI. We are glad to hear that you were able to refit the windscreen wiper and it is now working correctly.

My wife & I have just bought our first motorhome and landed on a New Forest campsite today, so no site report yet.
However, we must sing the praises of 'Nick Whale Motorhomes' located near to Evesham. They are the most friendly, professional and helpful company we have had the pleasure to do business with, in this market or any other. We cannot single out any member of staff, because they were all equally fantastic to deal with.
The purchase was not without problems from our side - it was dependent upon us selling our property, and the first buyers withdrew. But we quickly found another, and 'Nick Whale' stayed with us throughout.
We settled upon a new Auto-Sleepers Burford and the service and handover was impeccable. Knowing that we were 'newbies' they all went the extra mile to ensure everything was as smooth as could be.
For anyone considering a purchase we can heartily recommend a visit to 'Nick Whale', whatever the travel distance.

Great place super friendly team

Excellent service from start to finish. Only visited for a browse and felt like nothing was too much trouble. However spotted a van we liked and returned 2 weeks later to buy it. Woody was great to deal with and gave us lots of helpful advice. After sales Narinda and Attila were on hand to sort everything out efficiently but in a really relaxed friendly manner. Roy was really helpful when we popped in for some details. Handover was excellent and Martin talked us through everything but didn’t over complicate things. Thought we hit a snag on collection day but Tim jumped in and sorted it for us without hesitation. Delighted with our new van and feel like we are part of a new campervan family. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Ps Flo the resident dog also deserves a mention for the warm friendly greeting!

Not open much and no a/m messages to tell u they are closed.

Travelled 90 miles to view a motorhome. Nothing on website or answer machine to say closed and other businesses were open. How do they expect to sell anything if they are not there to do business?
