This is my first business, but I have had experience on a voluntary basis in teaching English as a foreign language to Latin american adults in London, as well as teaching maths and English to primary school children in a supplementary school in Notting hill. On these occasions, I was commended with certificates and the latter gave me the honour of receiving a volunteer of the year certificate, at imperial college!I was first commended for my Italian tutoring, while at UCL, having the chance to teach a chemistry student Italian grammar.I achieved a university qualification in Italian, it being part of my French degree .Having completed three years of my degree I could not finish my final year as I had been so out of study due to being severely ill when I was at university..I have been to France on many occasions and Italy twice and thus have practice in both languages,especially proficient in that of French! My languages are definitely a forte which would fill in the gaps for people wanting to improve on their skills as well as those who need to brush up on their oral, aural and written language for examination purposes. I studied and took Latin at a-level standard and this is a language that is dead but has the roots of all romance languages, and grammatically is far more complicated than Italian, French or Spanish. To be able to speak a language is obviously an extremely valuable skill to have, but there needs to be written language(grammar) as well as translating from the foreign language to one's mother tongue, and vice versa to really understand the foreign language as well as getting to know one's own Language better.
