A beloved 20 year old rucksack had developed a faulty double zip on an outer pocket and completely broken internal pocket zip. As the rest of the bag is in good condition and of sentimental value (which I expressed to New Stitches) I decided to have both zips replaced. A previous tailor in Richmond I had consulted said only possible to replace the double zip with a single zip which I said was disappointing. New Stitches not only made an exact replacement of the double zip but also attached the original branded zip pulls. A thoughtful and unexpected touch, so very much appreciated. The tailor had listened to what I said about the sentimental value and made it look as good as new. The zips were 100% perfectly fitted, thank you.

I have used New Stitches on a regular basis over several years for all types of tailoring. I have invariably found the staff to be polite and courteous. The work has been of the highest standard and always ready for collection as promised. I can not recommend them highly enough. I would not go anywhere else.

I would avoid this place at all costs. They are useless, rude and slow. If you want something go done properly then DO NOT take it here. They also don’t speak English so can’t understand your instructions. AVOID.

Very professional Tailors

Hi gave them a wedding dress which another tailor has ruined, and New Stitches managed to do an excellent job. They saved my wedding dress also, they managed to do the job extremely fast. I am happy with them. They are my favourite tailor in Richmond. I will recommend everyone to go New Stitches.
