Excellent local take out

Never had a bad meal from here, all these 1 star reviews don’t reflect a single experience I’ve had here, service is always excellent and friendly and the food is delicious. Not only that but very reasonably priced. Excellent little local takeaway.

Loon NAH

The food took twice as long as originally stated. Two hours in total I think I may have literally come from CHY-NA. I realise we’re in the middle of a global pandemic but just tell the truth Sandra if it’s not going to be one hour don’t lie to me. The spring rolls were chewy empty meaningless parcels of disappointment. The wontons were as tough as old boots I nearly broke my teeth trying to eat one. Now for the mixed meat dish. Well I couldn’t even identify the meat - lumps of gooey grey jelly like substance tainted the fried rice and assaulted my refined palette in the worst possible way. I can only assume
the ‘meat’ was sourced directly from a wet market. I will be asking to speak to the manager.

Awful service, do not use

The woman answering the phone on Friday night is so rude!! Unbelievable!!
My order took over an hour and a half!! and as I was told “we weren’t busy when you phoned but then we got busy so your order is out with 4 others from Stocksfield and they are the priority”
First and LAST time using this place

Rubbish

Absolutely revolting.
Burnt onions, watery curry sauce, greasy rice, rubbery chicken etc etc.

Helpful and friendly staff + surprisingly good food!

This was the 3rd Chinese takeaway I tried in Prudhoe over the years, while the exterior of the shop didn't impress me very much, its staff and food did. The lady at the counter was very helpful and recommended dishes based on what I fancied ~ I settled on the Cantonese Special (bit like sweet and sour but not as tart) there was a good selection of meat and the sauce was delicious (my new favourite dish + takeaway now) - the staff were really friendly and helpful on the 2 occasions I've visited so far, well done!
