Couldn’t be happier.

Outstanding service, bought a guitar on Monday and showed up here today in Spain four days later. Excellent description and explanation of the guitar and a simple straightforward transaction. Thanks again guys.

Best collection of used and vintage guitars

5
I’m a bit of a guitar collecting addict and spend my spare time going on guitar safari’s so as you can imagine I’ve been to quite a few shops. The New Kings Road Vintage Guitar Emporium has the best collection of used and vintage guitars I’ve seen and the customer service and expertise was first class. I’d highly recommend visiting this store if you’re looking for a guitar.

Expensive but often full of gems

4
Not the cheapest shop ever by any means, but then their stock tends to be rather special; ranging from all the classics to custom freakshows and everything in between, usually got some glorious old valve amps kicking about as well. Accessories are available and reasonably priced with a good string selection, they're open late on saturdays which is handy, and the guys have always been happy to chat regardless of your level of knowledge, their love of the instrument really shows. I've also picked up some great tips from them and found their setup/repair service to be extremely thorough with great attention to detail while being keen to make it exactly what you want and how you want it. One guy can seem a little surly and condescending but get him talking and he's really not at all.

Fake vintage guitars on offer. Avoid at all costs.

1
They have knowingly sold me a fake Gibson, can't get a response from them and have the proof of the fake.
Shoddy and illegal practice.

The issue was sorted and we have a very happy customer. Sounds like Yell makes it difficult to edit reviews once you have left them. You can check his review on Google. Look for Sam Dunstall.

Rudest staff you will ever meet

1
The staff member I dealt with was incredibly rude, miserable and impatient... I asked a question about a Les Paul of a specific year (they only had the one in stock) his response was to laugh at me and say "which one!" In a very impatient and annoyed manner... To which I smiled and asked "do you have more than one from that specific year?" Well... His sneering attitude was soon replaced with embarrassment as he'd realised that if he had an iq higher than 4 and didn't have an attention span of a goldfish he would have heard me specify the guitar I was after... I ignored all this and smiled asked a few more questions and kindly said "thanks for your help, bye..."To which his response was a grunt and not even a hint a bye.

Their response to a review below about responding with the same manners they received certainly wasn't the case with me. And I doubt it was the case with him either.

Seriously, avoid this overpriced shop like the plague and if you want a vintage guitar use eBay...as a private seller will more than likely be more courteous than these clowns. :)
