I have been a leaseholder in a property managed by Neon Property Services since 2017, and my experience has been excellent. Do not trust Neon Properties - terrible experience

Would give 0 stars on this review if possible. Dealing with Neon has truly been the worst experience I have ever had with a Managing Agent. Whilst this may seem unbelievable, there has been sewage pouring onto our drive at our block of flats for a month now, out of a drain that is not working properly. Despite constant contact from owners and tenants and Neon recognising the issue in December, Neon have failed to take proper, swift action to have the drains replaced, despite invoices being paid on time by those who are fronting the cost for the work. We are in January and we are yet to have any repair work started. Neon's communication and resolution of the issue has been extremely poor and I cannot stress enough how much I would advise steering clear of them and their services.

We’re sorry for your experience and understand your frustration. The drainage issue was reported in December and resolved in early February. We acted immediately, sending a contractor the same day the issue was reported. Initial attempts failed, and further investigation showed the drains had collapsed, requiring specialist equipment. We obtained multiple quotes, but the festive period caused delays as many contractors were unavailable. Once we had a competitive quote, we began collecting funds from leaseholders. As it was urgent and costly, we even used our own reserves to proceed. During repairs, the contractor found the problem was more complex, needing more equipment and time. Their return was delayed by two weeks due to scheduling beyond our control. Once completed, we ensured the area was cleaned and sanitised. While the delay was frustrating, every effort was made to resolve it as quickly as possible despite external constraints. We are sorry it took longer than usual.
