Neds Noodle Bar

Today was my first visit to Neds Noodle Bar. Although the facade and interior are basic, the restaurant is clean with an ample shaded outdoor seating area. The staff were very nice and I did not have to wait very long for my order despite it being the lunch-time rush.

The food comes in a cute take-away style box but was overall disappointing - very substandard for the quite pricey £7.45 charge. I had a rice noodle base with green Thai curry sauce and chicken as my protein option. There was no where near enough vegetables or chicken in the meal - it was all noodle with a couple of tiny bits of chicken, a few bean sprouts and sorry looking carrots. The sauce was bland, also sparse and too garlicky. Last of all, it is up to extra for chilli oil / pickles / ginger which come in a tiny pot!!

Sorry Neds but I wish I'd gone to Wagamamas!
