I've been a customer here for around 15 years and would be happy to recommend service and food to anyone.

I am happy to share Sonargow with everyone. I have been to many takeaways and restaurants for indian food all over Sunderland and I have to say this is one of the best if not the best takeaways in the city. The food tastes great, are well portioned and doesnt look greasy like at other places. The price is fair for this current financial climate and the service was pleasant.
I have to say I am surprised with the other review as I found no problems with the service. On weekends delivery sometimes takes upto an hour but they do tell me if their busy when I order.
I have no hesitation recommending Sonargow. 5 stars

Very poor food and service. I ordered my indian food and was told it would take 30-40 mins but the food took nearly two hours to be delivered!!!! I complained about the service and was'nt even given an apology!!!
