Naze Lane Garage test both Petrol and Diesel vehicles. With our Seven Metre Pit we are capable of testing, Cars, 4x4Â’s, Commercials (up to 3500 kg), Motorhomes (up to 10 ft 3 inches tall) Limousines & Minibuses (up to 16 seats)

As you will see our MOTÂ’s are carried out in hourly slots, so that you are not waiting all day for your vehicle to be returned to you. If worst scenario happens and your vehicle fails on its MOT, unlike some garages, we offer a free retest saving our customers more money.

Poor workmanship

Took my car here to get rear brake pipes done, indicator bulbs replaced and airbag fault sorted. They couldn't find the problem with the airbag fault. I arranged to pick the car up at 5pm and when I arrived there the garage was closed. I managed to pick the car up the following day and paid the £270 bill, without any explanation from them as to what work had been done. When I got in the car the fault light for the lights was lit because the brake light bulb was loose (It was working before) and the brake pedal was spongy. I initially thought the brakes could be readjusting themselves but by the time I got home it was obvious there was a problem. It is said that the definition of insanity is making the same mistakes and expecting different results, so with this in mind I took it to another garage who I could trust. It was found that the work done was shoddy and the brakes were leaking. Overall in 30 years of motoring this is the worse garage I have dealt with. It doesn't deserve 1 star.

Hi really sorry to hear you have had a bad experience at our garage and glad you have managed to get it sorted. However just for clarity we did offer to look at the car when you brought the issue to our attention 7 days after you collected the car. We gave you an itemised bill for the repairs we had charged you for and did not charge you for the hour spent looking at the airbag fault . You said that the brake felt spongy when you got home but waited a week to then drive it 17 miles to another garage with faulty brakes and no mot on the vehicle . We do close at 5pm as we explained to you so it can be no surprise to you that we were closed when you arrived after 5pm as our cctv shows

A marvellous service!

Daryl, Phil & the team have been taking care of my families cars for years now. Considering some of the cars I have owned the fact they rarely had problems is a great credit & reflection to the staff at Naze Lane Garage. All in all its a great garage which I would & have recommend to everybody.
