5The guys worked as a team to sort the new wheels promptly. As part of this, because the rear wheels were seized on, they freed them with a dead-blow hammer, stripped the surface rust off the mounts, and applied copper anti-seize to avoid the problem in future - for which I'm grateful!
The lift stopped working halfway through the wheel alignment, which had me a bit worried. Thankfully, the guys applied their mechanic skills to the lift, fixed it fast, and got straight back to the wheel alignment.
The guys were happy to talk me through and show me the work they did on the car, and helpfully pointed out areas for attention in coming months. Thank you very much for that.
The new wheels and tyres, and the alignment, are a big improvement. I hope to swing by and get some lock nuts torqued on soon, to protect the investment. Cheers!
