Soaked Coal from rain

Yesterday, I ordered smokeless Coal of £32 for 50kg and one pack of wood logs £4 from National Coal, Dunmurry, and it turned out to be pretty expensive. It arrived on time subsequent day. The driver delivered in the heavy rain, and I noticed all coal and logs totally wet; he didn’t have any tarpaulin blanketed vehicle/trailer either as I asked, he replied “call into the office”. I phoned in the office and the Lady who was the Manager was very impolite by saying that she is not able to control weather. What a pity this manager who is living in Northern Ireland doesn’t know how to protect the goods while delivering to the customers in this weather.

Poor quality control

Purchased 3 bags of 25kg NCC Household coal at Jim's hardware in Lisburn. The three bags weighed 23.5kg 22.4kg and 23.1kg in my opinion well below the 25kgs stated on the bag. 5kgs short and at £8.95 per bag, this is not good enough. Have they no quality control team?

Coal scattered around garden

I have ordered coal from this company for the past 15 years approx. and have always been very satisfied both with customer service and delivery. However, I ordered coal yesterday for delivery today and when I returned home from work at lunchtime I found that 1 bag had just been dumped causing the bag to split and coal was scattered around the pathway and garden area. I rang to complain and the gentleman who answered the phone just put the phone down on me after hearing my complaint, hardly customer service!
