Ordered a cake for my wife’s 60th. Birthday and paid for it
It was to be collected on the big day. When I arrived for collection I was informed they decided not to make any. The reason given was that cream is expensive however the price hadn’t increased in the last three days. Spoke to the owner who said it wasn’t worth making even though they had taken my money. Will never use again as they are not reliable and just don’t care about their customers. Expensive and a poor poor company

I recently saw one of their delivery drivers allowing a child, I presume to be their son, to urinate on the back doors of the delivery van. Then without so much as a wet wipe to the hands get back inside.

This is in broad daylight at 6pm right next to a McDonalds where the facilities could easily have been used.

This is an absolutely disgusting standard of hygiene and I am horrified to think that I have ever eaten anything that could have potentially been transported in a vehicle with such low standards. Presumably the same vehicle used to transport their wedding cakes, ingredients and other consumables.

My complain was duly ignored and I'm quite sad at this as this really was my favourite bakery in the local area.

I will never eat from there again.
