The gearbox failed on my elderly VW Transporter van. I thought this was be the end of the van. I was recommended to take it to MTG. It was a great decision. They took the van in and gave it a full check which included opening the gearbox. They were able to tell me exactly what was wrong and exactly what it would cost to fix. No loose ends, buts or maybe's. I really felt my van was in safe hands. I collected the van a few days later and paid what they quoted. The van drivel like new. The level of service including calls to update me on the progress was first class. The cost of repairs were very fair considering the amount of work involved. They saved the van. Thanks.

Absolutely faultless service, phenomenal after care.

We had our Suzuki jimny with a completely damaged gearbox, brought to these guys and they stripped it apart, fixed it to brand new quality and fitted new clutch on it, all for a very reasonable price and an excellent help after sale. We are a dealership and do receive more cars and MTG will definitely be the first place we would ring up, should we require gearbox/clutch services. The turn around was super quick also - 1-2 days. Thanks guys and we will definitely be back. Recommended 100%!!

Fantastic job by Barry and the team. I had a gearbox refurb and clutch replacement. They clearly know their stuff as they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and were able to fix it and return the car the next day. Very reasonable prices and they were able to source high quality parts for good prices which he passed onto me. Very professional and knowledgeable, great customer service and quick turnaround.

Would highly recommend if you're looking for transmission work.
