Business overview

Small family run Cattery based in Dalkeith.

Established in July 2019, our charming and luxurious cattery, Mr T's, offers modern UPVC PetPods with individual heating, ventilation, and various amenities. Each PetPod features a raised sleeping area, play space, feeding station, and litter tray, complemented by a window and perch for outdoor views.

Also available is the heated indoor only pens, all indoor pens come with medium to large cat trees, raised bed of required and litter tray.

As a small cattery, we provide personalised attention, playtime, and cuddles. Fully licensed by Midlothian Council and covered by 24-hour CCTV, our premises ensure a secure environment. We offer comfortable bedding, scratch posts, and toys, and you're welcome to bring items with your cat's scent.

Daily rates are £22 for one cat, £35 for two, and £45 for three in the same PetPod. Additional charges for cat food apply. Feel free to visit us or call us for more information.

I would recommend Mr T cattery to anyone who loves cats! our cat Molly has never boarded before,and it was so lovely to see photos and video of her settling in,Greg is lovely and obviously loves the cats he looks after,if I could award 6 stars I would! Thank you Greg

Mr T’s Cattery

Smudge & Stormy loved their stay at Mr T’s. We were anxious leaving them so long while we were on holiday but the regular updates and videos were excellent and we could tell they were happy and very well looked after. They had a great time and we will definitely return when needed. 100% recommend.

Excellent cattery

We've used Mr Ts Cattery a few times now and have more bookings in place. Our two cats are quite shy and timid but Jennie and Greg have taken the time to get to know them, settle them in and play with them.
Lovely clean cat pods and plenty of space to move about, with everything provided if required.
I love the photo and video updates on their Facebook page, as it provides me with reassurance that they are okay and happy.
I couldn't recommended them more!

Excellent service and lovely owners

Jennie and Greg provide such an excellent service. It’s clear they are passionate about their business and the welfare of the animals in their care. They are incredibly accommodating and such lovely people. We will continue to use Mr T’s Cattery!

Fantastic 5 star hotel for cats

Fantastic 5 star hotel for cats. Jennie and Gregg were great with our lirtle Hope settling her in and spending lots of time with her during her Christmas stay. Hope was lovely and cosy when we went to collect her from her heated cat pod. Videos and photos were posted giving us a little glimpse into Hopes holiday which was fab ! Would highly recommend Mr T's - its a lovely modern, clean cat hotel and Jennie and Gregg were great to deal with, even showing us around before we booked. Thanks !

Mr T’s cattery is a five star hotel for cats! Pip and Pop have stayed twice now and settled in well from the start. The place is spotlessly clean and so very cosy. Jennie and Greg are great! Friendly and helpful and the Facebook videos are a brilliant idea. I would recommend Mr T’s Cattery to anyone wishing to leave their feline family in a safe and homely environment. Jennie and Greg were brilliant

Our cats were the first to stay at Mr T’s Cattery and it was a great experience. Jennie and Greg were brilliant, they made extra efforts add a personal touch to their cattery service which we hadn’t had before. We were kept up to date on how our cats were getting on while we were on holiday through videos and pictures of them playing that were shared to the Mr T’s Cattery page. We also got to meet Mr T himself who is a sweetheart 😻 Thanks a lot Jennie and Greg

Jennie was a pleasure to deal with at every stage

Our puss Toby stayed at Mr T's for almost three weeks. Jennie was a pleasure to deal with at every stage, and with the photos and videos we could tell from the other side of the world that he was content. We picked up a stress free cat.
