Mr Cod Ltd

I've been to Mr Cod in Slough a few times and I will certainly carry on going back as long as their Cod and Chips tastes the same as it has so far. It is not the best Fish and Chips in the country but as far as I am concerned, it is the best Fish and Chips between Uxbridge, Slough and Windsor - that is convenient for me.

This place is a bit old and lacking in visual appeal. The fish is not fresh in my opinion, but what win's it for me is the smell that you only get with Fish & Chip shops. Ever passed someone with a bag of chips, got a whiff and thought, "I want that". Fish & Chips are an old favourite and I think that's what keeps this place going. The people behind the counter could do with some Customer Service training, but that isn't too critical in this type of business. I always take mine away as the place looks like it needs a good clean. Maybe a refurb would turn this place around and attract a bit more business.

This is the best place in Slough for fish and chips with fresh food served everytime I have been. The best meal is the masala fish and chips, which is very tasty and always cooked on the spot. Nice place to sit down too.
