Untrustworthy

Untrustworthy is all I can say. Both my partner and me took our cars in for an MOT. They gave 6 advisories on mine and tried to pressure me to get them done there and then amounting to £700. I couldn’t afford so waited a few days and took it to another garage which said they didn’t exist. My partners battery was drained on arrival back too and they tried to charge her for that which they did. Untrustworthy.

Excellent service and communication from enquiry through to sale. Contactable, and with fantastic after sales help. Had an issue (nothing to do with the car or the garage) but with VW Customer Care and Will was fantastic at helping me out with the problem. Buying a second hand car can be a bit of a minefield, but with an honest and reliable garage like Mountsett, together with unparalleled after sales service, you shouldn’t have a second thought about buying a car from these guys. Thanks for all your help.

Can't recommend Mounsett enough

I've been taking cars to Mounsett Garage for a few years now and continue to get an excellent service from them. They've serviced nearly new and one or two classics and always done an outstanding job. I'm a bit baffled by the negative comment below as I've also purchased a car from Mountsett that needed warranty work which they honoured without any issues. They also gave me a courtesy car whilst my own car was being worked on. Definitely one of the few reliable garages in the north east.

Excellent service, great staff, highly recommended.
I have purchased a car from Mountsett they have sold a car on my behalf and I get all my vehicles serviced at Mountsett never had an issue.
