Look around before purchasing from here

Over and beyond the cost of the wheelchair which in itself is expensive at 4000, the service charge per annum is 160, then you need to pay for parts and service any time things break. The manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover much. The costs of parts are expensive. Takes time to get engineer out. If you are looking to buy a wheelchair privately, especially for a child where damage is likely and school is concerned with health and safety, I would look around before committing to Motus Medical. The upkeep is very expensive, especially when you add to all the therapies etc families no doubt have to do privately.

Horrible company

Motus Medical have terrible customer service. The staff are friendly before they have taken your money and an issue arrises. They refused to repair the issues that I had with my wheelchair under my warranty. My wheelchair was nearly £4000. They added extortionate charges on their quotes for the repairs which should have been under my warranty. Also they brought up terms and conditions, which I was not told about before I bought my wheelchair or during the handover. All wheelchair users should stay away from Motus Medical.
