Monk Joinery have been providing a top quality service in Essex for over 10yrs

Monk Joinery is a family run business, producing hand made bespoke kitchens and all made to measure joinery. We also have a wide range of solid and engineered hard wood flooring for supply and fit or supply only.

With over 25 years of experience between us we strive to provide the best possible quality and craftsmanship at affordable prices.

Based just outside Saffron Walden on the Essex-Cambridgeshire border, we offer all aspects of bespoke joinery from design right through to installation. All works are carried out in our modern well-equipped workshop.

Replaced stairs in Victorian cottage. Not an easy job but excellent result and cleared all the resultant mess. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nice bench rebuild

I took some old bench ends over to Gary’s workshop for him to have a look at and and about 3 weeks later we have a lovely rebuilt bench with nice chunky Acoya wood that should last a long time. He used good quality ironmongery and got a great finish with the wood stain. All in a Great job. Chris

Highly recommend Gary and his team. They made me some bespoke doors and frames for my house as well as supplying and fitting some oak flooring, top finish ,friendly and reliable service
