The owner of MOMSO, Michelle Osbourne Matthiasson has over 30 years experience of sewing and textiles, working in Iceland for 66°NORTH and Galleri Freydis. Michelle appeared on The Great British Sewing Bee Series 2013 and was recently commissioned by the stylist Arabella Boyce to produce a frock coat for Jennifer Saunders, Ab Fab Movie.

Dress neckline altered from highstraight to low V-neckline with a beautiful pearl bead detail hand sewn along the edge all the way round to nape of back.
Beautiful alteration to accommodate baby bump. Zipper removed and intricate lacing detail inserted in the back by Michelle. Fine beading hand sewn around neckline.

Leather pant changes done perfectly

I've had several high value leather items tailored and always been delighted by the outstanding quality ..leather is a difficult material to work with as it doesn't allow for any errors. Once a stitch is made it will irreversibly leave a hole. Everything that Michelle and her team have tackled has turned out brilliantly. They also take a good amount of time to understand the changes and the process never feels rushed at all. Great job!

Amazing service. I got a wool shirt fully lined. Michelle and her team are amazing taking real care and pride in the work they produce. The whole process was smooth with Michelle giving advise and taking my opinion onboard to get the best outcome. I will definitely be taking more work to Momso in the future.

Mending moth damaged jumpers

I took three much loved (but eaten by moths) jumpers to Momso for repair. They did a great job. The mends are hardly visible. And the price, in my opinion, was very reasonable. Be warned, Momso do not have a shopfront ... they are on the 5th floor of International House and it's better to book an appointment on their website..
