Mochdre Vets

We have used this service twice with our pet hamster, once for a general health check and again this week when our hamster hurt herself. We were very happy with the care provided by the vet, Emily, and the generally kind and friendly atmosphere at the practice. We would recommend registering you pet here.

we only recently moved into the area. We took our big German Shepherd boy Jake for his check up and annual vaccination today, our first visit to Mochdre Vets. Pleasant, polite, smiling staff. Clean environment. He is a nervous boy but the vet and staff were so very patient and kind. They took time to try to help him to relax and feel more comfortable. The vet examined him and discussed any concerns we had, she offered lots of advice which I was grateful for. At Mochdre practice they don't want dogs to be anxious and fearful of going to the vets. The vet advised and invited us to pay visits to the practice at quiet times by telephoning first. This will allow our boy to get used to visiting there, he will get to know the staff and to associate the environment as a positive experience . What a wonderful gesture. I will do this so that future treatment visits will be less of a trauma for everyone! Thank you to all at the practice. You provide a wonderful caring service for our pets.

A stray cat needed help, Mochdre vets came to the rescue. The cat couldn’t have had better treatment anywhere. The staff were friendly and informative.
A difficult surgical procedure was performed by Lowri, one of the vets. And I was kept updated during the cat’s 3 day hospitalisation.
He is now home with me.
