We needed an experienced, confident craftstperson who could think outside the box... and Matthew turned out to be that person. The set design for the theatre piece we were about to tour to schools had to be produced quickly and to our designer's specific design brief, and within budget. We worked with Matthew to create three very different designs. We were very happy with the result. And wh...en we needed Matthew to come out and deal with an issue on the largest of the pieces, he came out and fixed it that day. MJB renovation of badly rusted external staircase

I have an external metal staircase that was badly rusted, full of gaps and holes and generally in need of some serious care and attention. MJB did a fantastic job renovating it and giving it a new lease of life. This was all done very quickly, work itself taking only a day with very little disruption to myself and family. The price was very fair and I have no problems recommending Matthew and MJB Metalwork Ltd.

Electric Gates

I have never seen 2 installers more dedicated to doing a really good job, the first date was to install the motor in the ground, they kept the work area very neat and tidy, a couple of days later they returned to install the gate, again the work area was kept very tidy when they had finished with an item it was put away, the installation went like clock work the gate frame was attached and then the boards attached to the frame, when everything was completed they went through all the workings with me to make sure I was happy with everything, they had used an electric saw some shavings went on the floor out came the hoover and they cleaned everything up, I am very happy with all the work done by MJB Metalwork and the installers and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a really good job to be done.

We had three quotes from three different companies to have electric gates fitted. Now that the work has been completed I’m so pleased that we chose MJB over the others.¶¶MJB were by far the most professional and the workmanship was exceptional. MJB made our gates from scratch exactly how we wanted them. The combination of wood with a metal frame has made it solid and long lasting, the use of hardwood not softwood for the infill really made you stand out from your competitors.¶¶I was pleasantly surprised how robust looking and smart the metal work is. It’s nice to know the metal posts will never rot and never need maintenance.¶¶Thanks for all your hard work in all the different weather conditions and thanks for handling everything whilst I was out working. I’d definitely use you again.
