MJ Darby is a well established building company of over 30 years, servicing clients across Herts, Essex and surrounding areas. I, myself am a qualified bricklayer by trade and have a wealth of experience and knowledge within the building industry. All jobs are project managed by myself in a professional and dedicated manner. When taking on large scale projects I use a loyal team of highly skilled and accredited tradesmen, whom take pride in their work and are totally trustworthy. All projects are completed with minimal disruption, respecting the client at all times and are kept to a strict timescale and deadline.

I take on all types of building work from small maintenance jobs to larger scale building projects eg. house extensions and refurbishments to garage conversions. Structural alterations, groundworks and hard landscape design including patios, fencing and wooden outbuilding construction. Marc Darby has done an excellent job of reconstruction of the gable end wall of our house. His quote was reasonable he always answered the phone, his workmanship was first class and the work completed quickly and he cleared up afterwards. I would be happy to recommend him.

THE WORKMANSHIP IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. GOOD TIME KEEPER.
CLEAN WORKER. WE ARE 100% SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND HELPED US WHEN WE HAD ANY QUERIES ON THE TYPE OF PATIO WE WANTED AND THE STONE.

Good, reliable local builder.

Mark does a good quality job. He responds promptly to emails/phone calls, is reliable and quotes a fair price. We have used him for brickwork and plastering mainly and you can tell he knows what he is doing and wants to do a good quality job that lasts. We can recommend him as a trustworthy tradesman.

Well managed project

Marc managed the small kitchen extension with ease. He kept us informed on progress and despite atrocious weather which delayed the project the building work was completed to a high standard and we will use this company again should we ever need any building work on our house.
