We are a small family run funeral home, we live locally so local people are genuinly important to us.

We decided to open our funeral home after spending 9 years in service for one of the big “market leaders" in the funeral industry.

Several aspects of the business I felt I could improve on inspired me to open my own funeral home were.

1. The service wasn’t personal enough and was often rushed as there were other funerals to do that same day.

2. There were unfair restrictions on chapel visits

3. Too many people simply didn’t “care” within the business

4. The price was simply too high and too much “pressure” applied on staff to push the funeral price up as well by selling more “add-ons” that simply were not needed.

A funeral does not have to be overly expensive to be dignified, respectful and receive a decent level of genuine care and attention.
