From the first visit by John to the completion of the work by Tony and Ben, Millholme were efficient and professional. We had regular updates from John prior to the work regarding weather and start dates. The job of repointing our Victorian terrace took four days, noise and dust were kept to a minimum and the site was left neat and tidy at the end of each day. The transformation of previously tired looking original lime pointing to a rejuvenated looking finish has been very noticeable and was well worth carrying out. Pricing of the job was very competitive and the quality of the final finish is excellent. Thanks John, Ben and Tony for a pleasant, unobtrusive job, finished on time and to a good standard.

Friendly professional company

We had lime pointing done on the front and back of an old Victorian terrace over winter. John and team did a great job working in terrible cold weather. Took care to check no damage had been done in a storm coming round on a weekend day with no complaints. Pointing looks lovely and fresh and we're very pleased. They took care to clean up after themselves too which is much appreciated. Would highly recommend this specialist and professional company.

We engaged Millholme to fully repoint our Edwardian home, including the chimneys and garden wall. John and the team have delivered a fantastic job using traditional materials and this has transformed the outside of our house. A lot of care was taken, and John and the team were a pleasure to deal with - very friendly and professional.

Great work on listed building

This is a company that cares about heritage buildings. St Augustine’s, Wrangthorn, Leeds, is a big Grade 2 listed Victorian church which was in need of repointing and needing a lot of copings refixing on its high and complex roof. Millholme Restorations were wonderful on the job. Price was competitive, and the small team was friendly and very helpful. John Bruce was generous with his advice and his experience proved valuable. When delays from other contractors impacted their work programme, John made every effort to get back on our job quickly, despite his own heavy work load on other projects. Our conservation architect was very happy with the work and with the contributions made by John to discussions on methods, materials and prioritization. The present project only attended to the higher levels of the building, but we hope to complete it over the next few years. Millholme would definitely be my preferred contractor for this.

Millholme just finished my house and I wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to such a small team and to do a fantastic job
This guys dealt so professionally and very very communicative even through pandemic times they kept me informed for everything
Well those guys basically transformed my house and me being very picky they we’re so patient and dealt very professionally and I say this as a delivery driver which I deliver for 17 years to building sides and I saw a lots of builders all over UK over the years
