New toilet, basin, tiling, bath and shower
Stripped back all walls to brick, replastered, tiled, fitted new sink, toilet, vanity unit, flooring and shower.
There was no kitchen here to start with so we ran services to this end of the room, re-plastered, painted, fitted units, worktops, sink, taps, ceramic hob, breakfast bar, integral, fridge, washing machine, fan oven extractor fan extracting to outside and glass hob, brushed steel counter splashbacks.
Repaired cracks in ceiling and walls. Hung new door. Stripped window frame. Painted walls and ceilings, window and door. Assembled bed.
Removed skirting, removed and disposed of old flooring, fitted new laminate, replaced skirting and made good walls.
Replaced an old pendant with the clients newly purchased fixed ceiling light

Coated wooden windows and doors with stain and UV protection
Cut out old rotten doorstep and base of door frame, refitted damp course, inset new base of doorframe sides and new doorstep. Painted to finish.
Made and fitted border surrounds to keep soil and ark chippings off the lawn
Added new brace post to support original rotten post.
Supplied and fitted glass awning/porch to back door.
Stripped old paint and repainted.
Removed old bark chippings and supplied and applied new slate chippings.

Having read references on Yell, I met the proprietor of this company, Jonathan, and contracted him to paint (and repair) the exterior of my house: multiple Georgian windows and doors, and exterior render (although he is skilled in many other building areas). Over several weeks, he did an excellent job, calling in additional labor when required. His dogged and thorough surface preparation work was key to ensuring a proper job and longevity of the work, scraping down the windows, treating the rotten areas, carving new pieces of wood to fit when the rot was too far gone, replacing broken sashes, ensuring the windows opened, applying undercoats, then gloss on the window frames. Equally he repaired the cracked render, and worked at high levels on the ladders. Jonathan is unusual in that he was once a cabinet maker, and very familiar with wood. He has an excellent attention to detail with a mobile B&Q of tools on his van. He is also eminently trustworthy with a very pleasant disposition.
