Rang Mike Kidder Associates looking for someone to survey my roof insulation and give me some advice about open cell spray foam insulation after I received a call for what I believed was the company who installed it in my home last year. I had made an appointment with the caller and when they came, yesterday, they were not connected to the installer but were from a foam removal company advising I should have it removed ASAP, at a cost of several thousands of pounds. Concerned I was facing a huge imminent bill for removal I called Kidder associates and spoke to Mike. He spent some time explaining the current situation with open cell insulation and gave me some highly appreciated and valuable advice which will help me with my situation going forward.

Mike completed a Level 2 Survey for our dream home. We needed to respond quickly to the opportunity and Mike and Jen worked efficiently to schedule an appointment as early as possible. Mike's attention to detail in the report was outstanding. His thoroughness confirmed much of what we already knew and revealed areas that required close attention. Buying and selling houses can be emotional and there are often many ups and downs along the way.Our son, a first time buyer, was recommended to Mike Kidder Associates by a friend . The first house unbeknown to our son had several issues that were not apparent at the time of two separate viewings. The vendor appeared to try and hide a few issues also - BEWARE! . A level 2 house buyers survey with a valuation revealed the true property to us and our son withdrew from the purchase. The survey cost was worth its weight in gold as the repair bills would have been horrendous.
On to the second property which was significantly overpriced and again the level 2 survey and valuation revealed the true property. Waiting to see if his revised offer is accepted but whatever happens this will have saved over £30,000.
