Mike used to repair my old sit on mower several years ago. My son recently got his first car a 1.0 Corsa back in March. Last week it just wouldn’t start on the drive so I gave Mike a call. He came over the following afternoon and after a period of testing he found the problem. The next morning he came back with the parts and duly fixed the car. He also pointed out to me that despite not long having the car the engine oil needed changing. So he did this as well. Nothing was a problem to him and just as I remembered he was polite, efficient and in the end the bill was very reasonable. Why go to a garage when it can come to you!!

We are a small business running a fleet of 5 vans. We have used Mike for over 30 years, his expertise and knowledge are second to none and he will go that extra mile to ensure our fleet remain on the road. We had a problem yesterday with one of the vans breaking down. Mike arrived within the hour, assessed the damage, sourced the parts and repaired the van where it had broken down. Our car broke down on the way to Edinburgh Airport so we had it towed to the airport car park. While abroad I got in touch with Mike who promptly went to assess the problem and then fixed the car. This was within 2 days of flying and made the holiday much more relaxing. We were kept informed of progress and were very relieved to come home at 1am and find our car working again. Price charged was also very reasonable especially so given our situation. Highly recommended.

As a female who is lost without the use of her car am wary of men mechanics..been ripped off in the past. Mike Dean is a Knight of the road.He put my mind at rest and sorted my wee Briget,,as i call her.


He came when he said he would and put right what was wrong with my car.!Thank you so much.Can see why people say he is good at his job.

A magic pair of hands for fixing cars. Most highly Recommend. Dont go anywhere else.

We had Mike come and look at a Megane it wouldnt start and the sensors were tripping all over the place. We had spend hours and hours on it replacing parts and stripping it down. We were at our wits end. Turned out that we were part of the problem with our interfering. We were tripping the sensors. In less than an hour Mike cleared the sensors and located the problem. A FAULTY BATTERY. I am happy to report we replaced the battery ourselves and the car is up and running much to the delight of the nephew. Mike took £30 for his time. Now this is one hell of a guy he could have ripped us of by coming up with all kinds of problems which we would have happily paid out for as nephew driving us crazy. Would defintely use this guy again.
