Michael Lawrence Ltd has a wide range of musical instruments, including new and pre-owned pianos, digital pianos, acoustic and electric guitars, violins, keyboards and much more.
Michael Lawrence, formerly known as A1 Piano Service, changed it's name due to public demand. The reason for this is, we were no longer just a piano shop as we had expanded into a complete musical retail shop, selling a range of other instruments such as; digital pianos, guitars, violins, saxophones, keyboards, ukuleles and many more including a range of accessories. The family business still offer the same piano service as before (Tuning - Repairs - Removals - Refurbishing - Hires) with the same friendly faces, as well as now been a retail shop for all other instruments.
Michael Lawrence Ltd is a family business with over 200 years' combined piano repair and tuning experience, owned by Michael Suddaby and Lawrence Stark. Mike is one of the country's top piano technicians and Laurie is a top concert tuner and technician, specializing in concerts and school exams as well as home visits. Supported by other team members they provide a personal and flexible service to all their clientel.
