We worked with Mia on an overhaul of our apartment. Design options included bathrooms, living room and hallway. Actual work executed included one bathroom, hallway, living room and a large joinery project. Very pleased with end result !

We hired Mia Karlsson Interior Design services to help us sell our Mother in Laws home that had been on the market for over a year with no real interest. The house was new with all the mod cons but lacked the wow factor as my mother in law had moved abroad so had not put much effort into the finishes. Mia came to see the property and advised on what areas to focus on and totally transformed the look and the feel turning it from a house to a home with the use of colour and soft furnishings. I initially wasn't going to use a designer for the reconstruction of my Notting Hill basement flat , thinking of course that my own knowledge and ideas would be sufficient to 'do the job' . However , on a good and wise friends recommendation I decided to make contact with Mia Karlsson Design for a 'coffee' and a chat.
I am so glad I did.
The first thing that struck me about Mia was how she seemed to have the ability to take my ideas and brief on board immediately and show me an array of ideas to spruce them up in ways I couldn't have imagined.
I decided that I may have had ideas but she had the talent and trusting in her was indeed the way forward .
