MG Hairdressing is based within Kalon Hair Studio, in the heart of Edinburgh's Canonmills area. We are only a 10 mins walk from Princes Street, Leith and Ferry Road. Lothian buses 8, 23,27 stop less than 1 minute walk from the salon.

Your professional stylist Mary is a balayage, colour and bleach specialist, having trained with some of the best mentors in the uk including Sophia Hilton (Not Another Hair Salon!), Jayne Wallace (Jayne Wallace Hairdressing), Simon Shaw (Wahl), Paddy McDougall (The Rainbow Room), Adam Stockton (Pulp Riot), Patrick Cameron (Bridal Hair Genius!), Harriet Stokes (Formerly Not Another Hair Salon!) as well as Redken, Wella, Loreal, Goldwell, Kerastraight, Olaplex, Pulp Riot.

As an accredited member of The Freelance Hairdressers Association, she has a wealth of skill, knowledge and expertise in hairdressing.

Excellent hairdresser

Mary is brilliant at what she does!
She makes you feel completely at ease and listens to what you actually want.
When I first went to her for a cut and colour, she corrected my DIY botch job without any judgement, and I loved what she did so much that I've been back to get my hair done with her ever since!
Couldn't recommend her more!
