Poor Restaurant meal service

2
Visted restaurant for Sunday lunch today, 18/09/22. Watched chef put the meat on our plates with his fingers, and then waited for the meals to be delivered to our table. Only one waitress on duty clearing tables and delivering meals. Despite chef shouting, "meals ready", she never noticed and eventually happened to see the meals, delivered them to our table and left us. When we started eating, realised the meals and plates were only lukewarm. Considered complaining but the waitress had by now disappeared and no-one to complain to except via checkout where there was a long queue. National mourning for death of Queen and reluctant to kick up a fuss. Ate tepid food. Will not return.

Exhausting visit -could be my last

2
I visited Mere Park Garden Centre today 27/8/2022. I was bitterly frustrated by the layout. I am disabled. I parked easily. Walked through the entrance and wound my way through many plants - a room of fragrances for the home and bath-by now I am lost and just want to buy a cake! I remember passing rows of bulbs - some machinery waiting to finish off some indoor work- by now I am struggling - trying to walk straight around glass ware. Find the cake . Cafe looked appealing but I was too tired to go there. The lady at the checkout for charming . She said she realised how difficult the layout was and apologised for it. I looked back and realised the cafe was a short walk from the exit.
This was mid-afternoon and most customers looked elderly. Is it possible to enter by the exit door is I am wanting to cafe or buy cake etc . If not then this is my last visit.
