My partner and i, had arranged with the hotel staff 5 days prior to checking in, that we were looking for a spa break with 2 family rooms beside one another. The hotel was known for it's spa and swimming pool, as it was advertised on the website and brochures. As we arrived, 20 minutes before check in (2.00pm) we were told that we had to wait 30 minutes for our rooms to be cleaned!! Then she said the rooms were not beside each other and that the hotel had "no swimming pool/spa" bearing in mind we called the previous day to finalise.. We had to wait another 30mins in the lounge to get our rooms we asked for (total 1 hour) and were given "complimentary" drinks (a j2o each.. Wow) finally, arriving to our rooms we found the windows were left open, dead creatures left on the walls, food/drink/liquids all over the walls and hair in the bathtub. Not to mention the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom in BOTH rooms!! We ate out (for many reasons) and had our best time AWAY from the hotel
