Mental Wellness Counselling is an established counselling practice offering 1-2-1 Coaching, Group work and courses all with the aim of helping you live a rich, full and meaningful life.

Prolonged stress and anxiety can be detrimental to your health, relationships and family life. You may be feeling irritable, overwhelmed, constantly worrying, or lacking in confidence, energy and sleep. Or you may be smoking, eating or drinking more than you'd like. Or have developed phobias, panic attacks or compulsions. All these may be manageable for a while, but over time they can wear you down, restricting your possibilities for calmness and joy in life.

Through open-minded presence, deep listening, and the sharing of tools and techniques, I can help you:

As a licensed Mindfulness teacher, I can also introduce Mindfulness into our sessions. Helping you start or develop a practice (if you want).

Anxiety and Stress can be very powerful and emotional responses to modern living. Both are common and treatable, however.

By using a blend of counselling, listening, and sharing of best practice, I'll get you to where you want to be.

Rates are negotiable depending on your circumstances. I reserve 25% of my places for price at the lower end of my scale, so just ask.

It is wonderful being a client of Matt. He makes me feel very comfortable in the room and he is willing to listen to everything I have to say. Furthermore, while discussing my difficulties; he is really understanding. His voice and accent are extremely soothing and always leaves me relaxed once I enter and leave the session.

Better than before
It is not the first time I am in therapy. I have only been to 2 sessions. The first time in therapy, I did not have a great relation with the therapist, which was not here. Currently, I feel better about this. Personally I like an active way of communicating, which is happening. The location and how the room looks, is important for me. Going to therapy is a good thing. It has helped me on personal, family and social level.

Intelligent and Patient
One of the best experiences ever, I entered confused about the direction I wanted to go and troubled by some things from my past, but Matt's intelligence and patience as well as his insightful questioning all turned things around. Glad to have worked with him.
