Meister Emson Roofing

Ian quoted me for a zinc roof back in March 2022. He seemed knowledgable and looked like he would do a good job. All seemed fine and he started work and mostly completed half of the roof. He said he had to finish another job and he would be back in around a week or two before finishing the other side. It’s now April 2023 and the roof hasn’t been finished and he has never come back. I had to get up on the roof myself as it was leaking in multiple places. He has repeatedly lied to me and has told me was always just about to come and finish it and every time it’s been a lie. This has caused huge problems for myself and my family none of which he seems to be bothered by. I’m now having to take him to court.

After a severe roof leak, made worse by the ineffective attentions of another, Ian Emson answered my call immediately, and arrived within a few hours, taking time off from other jobs to do so. He fitted an effective temporary cover (a tarpaulin), and provided a quotation the same day. He carried out a very neat and effective repair within a couple of days; at all stages he also provided many usefully illustrative photos. The cost was moderate, and the work carried out impeccably. He could not have been more helpful, considerate, on more painstaking. I can strongly recommend his firm.

Considerate, meticulous, on time, tidy, quiet and a job so well done even the roof tiles were replaced in the same order so that the algae pattern stayed the same !
