With over 10+ years of guitar experience, I will teach you not only how to play guitar but, how to perform, write, and improvise (beginner to advanced).

EXPERIENCE - Guitarist in Jazz North Introduces band J Frisco. Performed at Lancaster Jazz Festival, Marsden Jazz Festival, & Sounds Like This Festival.

GENRES - I teach rock, metal, blues, jazz, pop, acoustic, indie, funk, experimental, punk, alternative, prog, math, grunge & improvisation.

TEACHING STYLE

- These lessons are all about YOU and the music YOU want to learn.

- No boring exercises, practice should be fun

- 30% listening. Listening is a neglected practice that can hugely improve the way you perform and interact with music. 30% of your lesson will be spent watching performances/listening to recordings of successful artists.

- Homework, optional, I will provide listening suggestions too.

- FLEXIBLE - What we learn is up to you. I am happy to cover the following topics: performance, practice, composition, improvisation, lyric writing, music promotion, branding and self promotion.

Music, as an art form, is very personal and different for everyone. In your lessons, we will discover how you learn best and I will adapt your lessons to best suit you. We will talk about your goals and how I can best aid you in reaching them.
