Over 35 years down the drain! We have been continuously trading since 1978 and remain a family drainage company that is dedicated to offering honest prices for a reliable service.

Mega Rod is a family business that is not a franchise.

Unlike most of our competitors we do not pay our engineers on commission.

We offer a reliable service to our customers, many of whom have been customers since we first started trading back in 1980.

We predominantly work for regular account customers such as utility companies, schools, hospitals, construction companies but are often happy to turn our attention to smaller sites and domestic properties.

Mega Rod is based in Bath but has a team of engineers throughout the region who are all very knowledgeable and have been with the company for many years.

We own all of our plant and equipment and have a range of drain jetting vans, CCTV vehicles, septic tank lorries that can deal with most drainage problems.

We give honest, realistic prices over the phone and there are no hidden extras.

We do not use chemicals to try and unblock drains.

Our main areas of business are drain jetting, CCTV surveys and septic tank emptying.

This was a broken drain we found using our CCTV camera. In the past this would have involved a disruptive excavation but now it is able to be patch lined to seal the break from inside the pipe itself.
This is after the patch liner has been installed. It has produced a smooth finish to keep the drain running and prevent further collapse.

I asked Megarod to do a CCTV drain survey. They arrived punctually, were very polite and professional and even helped me diagnose the problem when it became clear from the survey that it was not a problem with the drains at all!

Expert service - highly recommended!

Very helpful on the phone, and equally knowledgable when they got here. I was a bit worried about the hourly rate but as it turns out they could not have been fairer on price and went over and above the call of duty while working on the drains at our house.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great service from a local family firm

I had a blocked drain and called Mega Rod, the phone was answered on the first ring and I was quoted a price to come out that afternoon. The engineer called before he arrived and successfully unblocked my drain then cleaned up the mess the flood had left. He was polite and friendly and I was charged the price I was quoted. I was worried that this was a national franchise but in-fact Mega rod are a local family firm. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to call them in again should I ever need to.
