Dinas Vets is a locally owned, family run concern, making a contribution to the local community. We offer the residents of Dinas and surrounding areas the best of modern Veterinary Practice, combined with good old fashioned service. We will treat your pets as if they were our own, and we treat our clients as individuals, taking time to explain treatment options, likely outcomes and prices. We will issue an estimate for all proposed treatment so you are fully aware of what all our recommendations will cost.

We aim to offer good value to our customers all year round, and keep our prices as fair as possible by keeping management ‘in house’

Excellent customer service

We had our kitten "Pablo" castrated at Madivet in Penarth. They were brilliant with Pablo and Amy ( at the reception) was absolutely lovely. She explained everything really well and was very welcoming. Thank you Medivet for assisting Pablo, he is doing very well.

Amazing vets & vet nurses 5* care

We have been using medi vet in Dinas powys for my Doberman Sadie since a few weeks into the first lockdown.
Sadie has soft tissue sarcoma cancer and during lockdown it ulcerated.
We went to our original vet and we had her booked in for the lump on her lower leg to be removed as we thought there was no other option.
I was worried about this surgery.
I decided to get a second opinion from medi vet and I’m so thankful that I did.

The vets & vet nurses here went above and beyond and made contact with a vet that had more information regarding cancer in dogs and they concluded that an operation would not be the way to go due to the compilations it could cause.
So as my Sadie is still enjoying life and showing no signs of being in any regular pain we opted for cancer management with steroids to help keep the tumour under control and pain medication, which she only really needs after extensive exercise.

7 months later and my Sadie is still doing really well
