At MCR Pointing we treat every job as it’s our own property. With a dedicated team of tradesmen with over 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge on various mortars and pointing methods.

Over years the mortar in between brick or stone buildings/walls will deteriorate, leaving your building open to the elements, this causing damp issues to the inside of your property. When the mortar becomes deteriorated it is necessary for the building to be re pointed. We grind the old mortar out using a 5 inch grinder complete with a diamond disk to ensure clean cut to top and bottom of the joint, after grinding we wash the building top to bottom to ensure no dust is left in the joint. Then we point the brickwork/stone using either sand and cement or a lime mortar, with different finishes to suite the client.
