I can whole heartedly recommend McCamley & Laird, we had a very good experience working with them. As an island customer in the middle of winter, flexibility had to be built into the timing for their arrival. At all times we were kept informed.
We were met each day by an enthusiastic and optimistic Peter Laird, who dealt efficiently with any issues that arose. Peter not only kept us informed, but also our immediate neighbours who were directly affected by the work.
The work was completed in 3 weeks, stripping and re-slating, new fascia and gutters to a semi-detached, 4 dormer windowed roof. Photographs of the work were regularly sent from the roof top to show progress.

Scott and Peter have just finished renewing the rendering on my cottage in the Ross of Mull. This was the second phase of the project - earlier in the year they had re-roofed the same building. As before, I found them business-like, positive in their attitude, skilled, and very, very hard-working. They kept to the quote and the timetable, tidied up as they went along, answered questions quickly and clearly, and paid great attention to detail. Donald, who works for them, was also industrious and obliging.
