Maylam & Sons Painting & Decorating Ltd

Maylam & Sons painted the exterior walls of our office in Reading and we are so pleased with the results. They have transformed our building and the quality and standard of workmanship was extremely high. Collards will be using them again and can highly recommend their services.

We have very old Georgian windows that needed to be restored, repaired and painted and these guys from Maylam completely exceeded our expectations. The work has been done to an extremely high standard and the team we had on site with the cleanest workers we have ever had in the house. From our first encounter with Mark Maylam through to the afternoon the team left, (exactly when they predicted the job would be completed) everyone went above and beyond to make sure we ended up with an excellent job. Absolutely fantastic job. The were dealing with a 17Century cottage in terrible decorative order. They peeled back and sanded and smoothed layers of paint, and plasticoat, plastered and filled beautifully - they are true craftsman and took real pride in doing the very best job. Some of my windows were so rotten that I thought they would never look good but these guys fixed and filled then and they look brilliant. I had previously had decorators who did nothing but paint over what was there - the difference with Maylam and Sons is amazing and the slightly higher price well worth it; the work finished over 6 months ago and everything they did is still looks new. I cannot recommend them enough. And to boot.. what a lovely bunch of people to have in and around your home!

Mark arranged for his team of decorators to paint my kitchen and hall ceiling at very short notice. I was very impressed with the job done, the politeness of the team, and the way they cleared everything up at the end. As I was out at work for the 2 days the job was being done, I had total trust in the team. I would highly commend.
