Matthew mended and retuned my very very old piano, he has brought life back into the instrument that we thought was passed its sell by date. We are very pleased to have discovered him and recommend him with confidence.

We bought a Kemple piano from a friend only to discover that there were problems with the action that made it unplayable as most notes would not sound if touched gently or repeatedly. We feared it might need a great deal of work to put right. Matthew Gough came to give it an appraisal. After a few minutes - with his case of extraordinary specialist tools - he said he should be able to get each note adjusted within about 2 hours. He did exactly that and when he left the piano had been transformed - beautifully playable and perfectly tuned. We were hugely relieved and can highly recommend Matthew as a man of great skill and integrity.
