Marron Theatre Arts

My daughter has been attending Marron for 5 years. She began with no dance training at all and began with ballet, adding in tap and modern. The owner has been wonderfully supportive and very encouraging, giving my daughter some unforgettable opportunities. The level of dance instruction is high and professionalism from both staff and pupils is expected (you will be sent out to redo your hair if needed). However, allowances are made for young pupils and inexperienced parents (Dad hair anyone?) and instruction and rules are age appropriate. My daughter now does theatre classes on a Friday as well which has given her opportunities to perform adapted musicals. My daughter is not in the competition stream which requires a whole other level of commitment but is an option for keen and talented pupils. Communication is not a business strength, but the sheer enthusiasm for dance more than compensates.

5 stars for this amazing dance school. All three of my children (girls and a boy) love attending Marron, it is their dancing family. There is a huge variety of classes and a huge amount of expertise and encouragement on offer. During lockdown it has been fantastic that classes have still happened over zoom, giving them a structure to their week, we would have been lost without it. They can’t wait to get back in the lovely studios though and see their friends and teachers again. Marron has a real sense of community whether your kids want to go all out and compete at the highest level around the UK or just want to have fun in a musical theatre class. I can’t recommend it enough, we’ve spent the past 9 years happily attending class here.

My daughter has attended here the last 6 years. I can honestly say i would not take her anywhere else. Ive seen the teachers here shape my daughter into a fantastic young lady. It has such a friendly atmosphere and every new child is welcomed and made feel part of the team. The effort put into each child is outstanding, could not wish for a better dance school.

Marron has been a haven of play, fun and learning ever since I took my children along to their first 'dancing bears' class at three years old. Since then they have moved onto enjoying many aspects of the dance and performance classes that Marron has to offer. Their skills have grown along the way too, from understanding the discipline of class and graded exams to the knowledge gained from putting on a show. Their confidence has grown not only through their learning and performance but also socially by the many friendships that have been formed over the last eight years.
From ballet to musical theatre, there’s a class to unleash every girl and boy’s potential, from toddlers through to teens. Marron is a professional dance & performance school offering children the opportunity to learn new skills whilst having fun in a safe and welcoming environment. My children and I highly recommend it x

We've been going to Marron Theatre Arts for over 6 years now. There's a huge variety of different dance classes to choose from, taught in their purpose build studio, all lead by experienced and fully trained staff. The children thrive in the highly-disciplined environment, but at the same time, there is always a very kind, caring, and welcoming atmosphere. Both of my children have been given many incredible opportunities and unforgettable memories over the years. Overall, Marron is a fantastic dance school which I would highly recommend!
