Marlow Vets

So pleased to find this vet, we have a ferret and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended we won’t be going anywhere else now

We have recently moved from another vets to Marlow vets in Chepstow. Our collie had a very large growth on his foot which was not responding to veterinary treatment. Due to covid 19 our former vets were unable to offer a physical examination. The growth became larger so we phoned Marlow vets and he was examined! Within days of joining the practice, the growth was removed. It was an extremely tricky operation and we started their strict routine to ensure our collie had the best chance possible of making a full recovery. They even kindly let us borrow a crate. Nearly 6 weeks later, he is making excellent progress. We cannot praise Marlow vets enough. The skill and dedication shown by this practice is outstanding. Everyone we met was friendly and polite and obviously cared deeply for our dog, doing everything possible to progress his recovery. We are immensely grateful to the Marlows and their wonderful team. Thank you for giving us back our dog.

Excellent vets but the owners, who are also practicing vets, think they are a cut above. They are rude and their beside manner leaves much to be desired. The charging is sporadic and largely depends on whether you have insurance. I’ve been charged a multitude of ‘consultation fees’ and was recently, owing to Covid-19, charged more for a telephone consultation than a face-to-face consultation. Transparency is required at this practice. If it weren’t for the local vet at my practice I’d most certainly go elsewhere

Can not praise this practise enough. My dog has been cared by them for over 8 years all the staff are helpful and considerate. They have always accommodated my queries and have always fitted my dog in even with really short notice.
Over the years I haven’t heard anyone complain about any of the staff and my dog has always felt like a priority in their hands

Great at his job and highly skilled however there is a huge cost for most procedures and doesn't seem to be the genuine care and concern for the animals welfare more so on getting paid.Can be quite abrupt too.
