Marlon Farrugia Guitar Tuition

My name is Marlon Farrugia. I’m a professional musician based in Brighton. I am currently offering one-to-one lessons in Guitar (Electric, Acoustic, or Classical), Bass Guitar, and Ukulele for Beginner and Intermediate students of all ages, both in-person and online via Skype.

I have over 20 years experience playing, and have been performing in a variety of styles both as a soloist and band-member for over a decade. I currently play rhythm guitar and sing lead vocals in bluegrass/folk group The Seagrass Band. I am also an experienced composer and producer, having written and recorded songs and music for a number of film and theatre productions. I was taught to play by my father, Pete Farrugia, a renowned guitarist on the British Blues circuit, and a professional guitar teacher since 1977.

I have a friendly, laid-back teaching style. I believe in students learning in the way that feels most natural to them, emphasising material that they find most enriching to learn. Learning music should be a joy — a challenge, but an infinitely rewarding one.

Lessons are conducted at my flat in Patcham.
