Reskimming over the original plaster work.

Once the walls plastered we leave it to dry out completely ready for the next phase, polished marble plaster.

After the re- skimming has dried the wall is prepared for a decorative polished venetian plaster finish.

Look how much the plaster reflects light.

This was a girls bedroom plastered in candy pink. She picked the colour and I let her mix it with my supervision.

Moving across the wall making shades and building up the colour nicely.

Once dried a coat of wax or polishing soap is applied and machine buffed to a glossy finish.

Polishing the wall is in full progress now. Notice the light reflection in the top right corner.

Polishing the plaster continues as the adjoining wall starts to dry ready for polishing.

This was a grey polished marble plaster section for a kitchen showroom in Enfield, North London. In the middle of the wall is the reflection coming from the lights behind the photographer.

Scratch coat on expanding metal lathing. 3:1 sand & cement mix.

Rubbed up finish with a 5:1:1 sand,cement & lime mix.

Preping the floor with a coat of liquid membrane.

Applying self levelling compound over a pitted concrete floor. The black liquid membrane was applied as we were not sure if the floor already had a membrane. Better to be safe than sorry.

Self levelling compound applied to provide a suitable surface for floor coverings.

This client requested that the cornice be made good and not replaced with something off the shelf from a builders merchant.

Just some of the damage this cornice had been subjected to over the years.

Trying to keep the original round corners was important for this client.

Excellent Job

Big thanks to Mark for re rendering our Koi pond and raised bed
He was very professional yet friendly and unbelievably tidy
Pond now looks as good as new and the fish were out of the pond for a minimum amount of time

A heartfelt recommendation

You know you have a good plasterer when it takes weeks to get to the front of his list. Mark was extremely reliable, tidy, a real craftsman and very cheerful in the face of our previously disastrous walls. He did did beautiful job. Definitely worth waiting for.

Justins cracked unpleasant walls are now perfect.

Great plasterer and a lovely man .
I had a few problems with my walls and mark explained what needed to be done and he carried out all the work to a high standard. I cant thank him enough .
