Maricraft Slate World

My name is Len and the owner of Maricraft. I would like to tell you that in over 30 years of making slate house signs we have wonderful feedback and never one single complaint. The same applies to our event slate coasters. We are the leading printer of slate coasters in the UK and one of the few companies with the expertise to produce sharp screen printed images on slate. We are sign suppliers to Government and local Authorities, The Forces and of course the General Public. With regard to the first negative review regarding coasters. This middleman got himself in a twist because Parcel Force did not collect on time. However the order for printed slate coasters, an intricate design, was delivered within two weeks of payment and to my knowledge the receiver was absolutely delighted. With regard to the other clock issue. A replacement movement was sent out within 7 days, failed delivery, carded collect from P.O. Customer failed to collect!!

We placed an order for coasters and paid upfront. The goods were not dispatched as promised and we received a lot of silly excuses. We were then told the goods had been disaptched when there were not. Very difficult to get hold of Len the owner by e-mail or telephone, voice mail seems to be permanently on. In response to our complaint we received a very bad e-mail from Len attacking us and threatening legal action if we made any negative comments. No apology, just nastiness. We will never do business with this company again.

bought a clock does not work contacted Len by e mail after about ten mails he said he would send out a new clock mechanism never received it re contact him to be told he sent it first class but he had no tracking number etc hard to be believe we send a lot by post and always have proof posting so says it all not a very good experience so be warned
