I came across Maria's on the internet as I was experiencing difficulty in finding a company to alter my curtains. I found Maria happy to look at them and her commitment in suggesting how she could professionally repair them and make them look new again.
On picking the curtains out I was impressed at the finish as they looked new. I was very I'm pressed
and am bringing in some trousers for alterations.

I'm rating the phone communication, rather than quality of work. Wanted 20 shirts to be altered, all the same size, same fit, same material (Oxford cotton) and same label. I offered to bring a current shirt I wear as a guide to how I want the 20 shirts to be altered. That was not good enough and I was abruptly told I had to try on each shirt. I explained again how all the shirts are identical in size etc, but she still insisted in an abrupt way. I gave up.

Been going to Maria's for years,always a pleasure to visit her & to know my clothes will be altered exactly as requested, highly recommended.
