Mamas & Papas Edinburgh

Ordered furniture & other baby stuff for our baby in store in July, member of staff advised us that the available date for all of our items to be delivered together would be the 12th Oct. It got to the 12th Oct & nothing appeared, no call/text to say when it was coming, so waited in all day for no reason. I spoke to the customer service team & they advised that they had ran out of the furniture I ordered and I couldn't get it delivered until 29th October, 1 day after my baby was due - not ideal! We received the furniture (which was the most expensive in the shop and it was damaged, it had stains, parts were broken, parts were missing - it was an absolute nightmare!! The pram also came all scratched. After a lot of waiting on hold, going back & forward m&ps offered us £200 on a gift card as compensation and replaced the broken parts. £200 out of the £4000 wasn't great but all we could get. I would never expect this 'service' from them. It was an awful, stressful process

Extremely unhelpful staff (27/01/17). We have been given clothes as a gift from Christmas and currently visiting family in Edinburgh. Two of the sleep suits still have security tags on them. Staff Refused to remove tags.
